To access the new ESS SIMS please visit the SIMS ID login page here you will see the below login box, please use the provided details and note the login email maybe XXX@Connected.SIMS.co.uk not your CELT email.
Once you login please change your password as the supplied temporary password will expire, if you are not prompted to do so please go to the top right corner where your name is and click to see the menu, then choose "My Profile"
On the my profile page the click the "Security" tab and then "Change Password" from the sub menu.
ESS SIMS offers the ability for Staff to login using their Microsoft account, this must be setup manually but once done simplifies the login process.
To do so go to "My Profile" as shown above, then choose "Login & Communication Preferences", then click "Microsoft"
Now on the next page click the "Add Microsoft Account" button, you maybe prompted to sign in if using Chrome but on Edge this is unlikely.
Once completed when accessing https://id.sims.co.uk you will now be able to click the four coloured squares to login with your Microsoft account automatically.
